HIV from Urine Droplets ???

Hello,
Can someone pls advise ?
I was using the adjacent urinal in the public men's toilet on 29 Apr 2000. The other urinal was occupied by another guy. After he has done so (pee), it could be seen that he wanted to rid urine remains by "shaking" his organ.
In a careless manner, he shook it fast and hard that some of his urine droplets "spurted" across. Due to the urinals are constructed close to one another, some of his urine landed on my foreskin. He left without a word of apology.
My questions are:-
1. If he is HIV positive, will I be infected in this manner?
2. Is HIV present in urine?
3. Do I need a blood test?
Hope to receive replies. Thanks.

Opps, Correction to question #2. I believe the answer is Yes, there is a very small amount of HIV in urine. I believe it's so small it is considered not able to cause infection. But come-on, certainly no risk of exposure to infection from a urine splash. What was the velocity of the urine? Was the vector at a 90 degree angle or was it 360 degress then straight down to 180 degrees? Also was the room tempeture above 65 degrees celcius? And finally, did you stop urinating or continue? This is a critical question.
Sorry, sorry to make light, but really...some people actually have risk exposure. Check out the CDC's home page, it's clear on transmission methods. They don't even achknowledge urine as a fluid to consider.

Hi Dude,
I've continued to urinate, like the saying goes, "Once started, can never really stop".
Oh yes, the room temperature at best was about 28 degree Celsius.
So, do I need a blood test?

Hi Worried Man; I appologize if I confused you! From the information you provided, I don't think you need to get a blood test. Unless there's something your not telling (sexual activity/iv drug use/an open cut/sore/leasion on penis), it would really be un-necessary to test. Why on earth are you worrying? Think about what health care workers are exposed to everyday. I'm sure on every given day, perhaps thousands of workers are splashed with urine/blood/vomit/& other body secreation. HIV is actually harder to get than you think! It's got to be body fluid to body fluid. You're over-reacting! Check this address from the CDC, all your questions should be answered. I was making fun of you with the velocity/vector/room temperature questions. The site is http://www.cdc.gov/nchstp/hiv_aids/pubs/faqs.htm BEST WISHES DUDE

There have been NO DOCUMENTED Cases of HIV transmission from urine in 34 million infections worldwide. Learn about transmission!! HIV MUST GET INTO YOUR bloodstream!! Relax!
