neg @8wks-need 3 month test?

Hi all, got my results back for an 8 week HIV test-NEG. SO I am happy!! My question: do I need to take a 3 month test? Will my results really change? I am happy, but reserved because its only a 8 week test. Any advise would be great! Take care everyone

If most people (~90%)develop antibodies at 1 month (see Ryan's posts), wouldn't 8 weeks be fine? I doubt it will change!

A lot of doctors (including mine) told me that a 6 week test is conclusive but because a lot of agencies still say 3-6 months I took a 3 month test

Please don't re-test it will only give you more stress and health problems. I stopped testing because it was making me ill with stress. I have been fine now for almost a year.
