hi..i recently discovered swollen lymph nodes in my groin...i have had a few low risk encounters that occurred about a year ago..my question is if lymph nodes could swell from stretching?..i started running to lose weight and stretch every morning..could this be a cause for the swelling?

One thing you can be certain about are that these syptoms that you have one year after "low" risks encounters are NOT HIV.
If you are very worried go and get tested or see your doctor about this and then you will know, no one on this forum can tell you what you have and it could be hundred diffrent causes.

Here is my experience. I started working out everyday for about 2 months then had an encounter. About a month after I stopped working out I got a swollen lymoh node in my groin. I tested negative at 7, 10, 12, 14 weeks so I know it was not HIV. I ended up having the lymph node removed for biopsy and it turned out fine. It could have been from exercising but I really don't know. I think it had a lot to do with why that lymph node got larger because it came back a perfectly normal lymph node. Go figure. So now I have a scar from my normal lymoph node. Just watch it and see. Things that can cause the lymph node in your groin to swell can be from shaving or a cut on the leg. Hope I helped!
