Are GI problems common during ARS? I had what i thought was an ulcer for a few weeks.

In my case it has to do with a thick-headed husband and two teens....just kidding (some)!
Ulcers are not related to HIV. Not during ARS and not later.

GI problems can occur during ARS and persist after ARS. Intestinal problems are very common and seen quite reguarly in HIV positive individuals. Those who are unaware of their positive status just blow it off as a case of the runs or stomach ulcers, etc.. Hope this helps
