I have read that thrush is a sign of HIV? If so what exactly is it? I have developed some white looking little bumps around my taste buds in the back of my tongue? Is it thrush? Also i have developed some dry mouth and dry nose(sinuses-dried out too, never have been) along with some red patches on the sides of my tongue, is that thrush also just a difference is form, the first being psuedomembouccuous, and the latter being erytheomous candisis, someone with knowledge please help for its only been 7 weeks since exposure?
Thank you so very much!!!

Todd,

While thrush is something that people with HIV get, and it can show up during ARS, it is rare that it does. What you have to remember is that many things can cause thrush that have nothing to do with HIV, if that is what you have.

What you describe doesn't really sound like Thrush, the best thing you can do for yourself is have it check out by a doctor.

Many common mouth problems can be similar and we certainly can't tell you what it is by a description.
