I have the dreaded reddish-purplish mark on my arm. It is not raised-perfectly flat. About dime sized. When I push on it, you can see the blood leave the area and quickly return when pressure is released. I also notice that it gets deeper in color after a hot bath. I know we don't self-diagnose around here but am wondering if anyone has any expertise on KS. I've read that it is less common in women also. Can anyone help with some information? Thanks so much. I'm starting to come up with a list of items I may have in common with people who have full blown AIDS. I've never been tested and would have to have been exposed over ten years ago. I'd be grateful for any advice. Thanks.

You right we can't tell what you have over the internet. Instead of trying to get the information about what it is from us, why don't you have a doctor look at it. While you are there you can have an HIV test done. Wouldn't it be better to know for sure instead of guessing.
If you are positive knowing for sure will save you life, not knowing could kill you.
