With negative antibody after more than six months with no further exposures, and if I took a hiv dna pcr test and it came back with hiv virus what would be the next step? Could then the antibody results be incorrect? Or is the pcr false positive? PLEASE ANSWER. GOD Bless.

Why do a PCR? You already have a negative test after 6 months. PCR's can give false positives and are not recommended for diagnosis HIV except in the case of a patient that is experiencing ARS symptoms (as deemed by the doctor, not the patient). Move on.
