After years of postponing the inevitabe, I've finally been tested and I'm awaiting results this week. My husband of two years has tested negative. We've had lots of unprotected sex. My fear in being + is a boyfriend from 7 years ago. Since then, I've had lots of blood work and most recently a CBC. All fine. I KNOW that this means nothing--I can still be + regardless, HOWEVER, wondering if anyone knows the statistics/likelihood of my status based on his HIV- results (today) and other factors. Thanks.

Hello, HIV are not easy to catch, All other STD are transmitted easier than HIV. I would say that you are most likely not Infcted But to be sure the HIV test are the best answer to you. So I think that you can take it easy and wait for the test result and feel that the odds that you would be infected are extremly small and practicully Zero if you have lived for 2 years and your partner are Neg.
