Has any male, who think they might have been exposed to HIV, ever experienced pain and discomfort in the testicle a few weeks after exposure?

I had pain in testicle 3 or 4 weeks after my possible exposure but had tested negative at 6 months. Im not exactly sure what causes it.

Well its been three weeks for me since exposure and it has been lasting for about a week. At first, I didnt think much of it..but now after having tested negative for for other STD's...I got tested 2 weeks after exposure..the only virus left to think about is HIV....

I had every symptom in the book it affected every inch of my body, Ironically the only part I had no symptoms with was the part that got me in all this trouble in the first place by the way I am still neg at 12 months but have trouble accepting my results.

I know what you mean, im negative at 8 months but think i might have gotten a non-b subtype which might extend the window period. I read that current tests are sensitive to b subtype but not as sensitive with others and that with non-b subtype there mights be a latent window period but this is only if u took the 3rd generation test which is tuned more for b subtype. Thats why the window period is smaller but i think its only applicable to the b subtype. if you have another subtype it might take longer than the standard window.

One of the symptoms of Chlamydia is pain or tenderness in the testicles. You should go check that out since it could bring infertitlity later on if not treated correctly
