Thrush or Geographic tounge

I have white patches on my tounge only mostly near the tip and sides in front. They seem to be like craters with white borders. My tounge also burns really bad. There are also a few tiny little red spots that hurt too. Does this sound like thrush or geographic tounge and is this consistent with HIV infection or could this be the stress I am going through everyday worring
Also does anyone know how to self treat this condition

Sounds to me like a geographic tongue. That is what the Dr. said I had. I was freaked. Actually had a white patch on my tongue as well. Thought it was thrush.....Brushed and brushed.........It went away. Geo tongue is caused by stress. That is what I am assuming caused mine. Also, it may go away but, it may also come back (Mine did). This was a HUGE mind relief for me. The Dr. looked into my mouth and said "Yup, you have a geographic tongue" I about wet myself........Hang in there. I know this is rough. I am going through alot myself at the moment. I still have a 6 week test as well as 12 week test to go.....The waiting will make you think up all sorts of things. I finally had to get tranquilizers to get some sleep.
My risk was Extremely low (I got 2 blow jobs and rimmed in a bath house). The guilt is eating me up (I am married).
We are here for you. Did you have any other symtoms?

Yes It all started with pain in my adbomen and groin 8 weeks after possible exposure. I spoke to someone who had HIV and she said you have nodes deep in your abdomen too where I hurt.
That was followed by pain in the armpits and neck with pain behind my head.
The pain in my neck, groin, and armpits comes and goes, but the pain in my abdomen which feels like node pain that clamping throbing pain is constant
Also I had
1 week of light night sweats
The same week I had numbness and tingling in my hands and fingers
I have a faint rash on my upper chest around collar of neck that I probably would have never noticed if I wasn't looking
Weight loss 15 lbs but I gained it back
Fatigue and Malaise
After alot of research and advice from this board I shrugged it off to stress or at least tried
But the last two symptoms have got me really scared having this burning sensation on my tounge and these little red pen dots all over my body. My research says there petachie
Blood vessels bleeding into skin due to a low platlet count
Its nice to find someone that I can relate too I am also married annd also had a low risk exposure.
Most every one here has written me off as a worried well
My exposure was open mouth kissing 1/2 hour after waterpicking my teeth and bleeding alot
The girl I was with found out she had an STD Gonnorea and Clymidia She was treated for it
She took a ELISA TEST for me 6 months after we kissed and it was negative.
I thought it was over when she got the test but the symptoms never went away, they got worse.
Jackie thinks Im nuts and belong on a funny farm with Paulb and another guy siad he would bet the farm I don't have HIV, but the symptoms don't go away.
Im more scared for my wife and terrified of my kids growing up without parents than for myself
I pray everyday for me and everyone else going through this

Dude!
If your only exposure was kissing a girl that was HIV NEG and she confimed it 6 months after your little "to do" then you are clean. If she is clean and that was the only thing that happened.....YOU ARE CLEAN!
I do not know if the guys I was with are clean or not. I did not see any blood on the sheets after we were done. That is the only thing keeping me going.
You on the other hand have a severe case of the "guilts". Please do yourself a favor.........Take a deep breath and move on with your life. Go home, hug your wife and kids, tell them that you love them and show them that by never straying again. I know that is exactly what I will do if/when I test neg after 3 months.
I hope this has helped. If she was NEG 6 months after you played...YOU ARE NEG!
