Ok, I'm out of the closet, my story
      #29307 - 03/04/02 06:16 PM

Ok, at first, hi to all!

Followed this forum for a while.

My case, unprotected vaginal and oral sex with a female at
my age. I got chlamydia, which was cured in two weeks after exposure. No other exposures after that.

And damn, that was the easy part! The compacted list of my symptoms (only the worst) after the exposure is following:

- swollen lymph nodes at both sides of my neck, below the ears, in the jawpits (week 6)
- Mild set of shingles, marks still present (week 8)
- Extreme neck pain, fatigue, headaches, tingling, pain in the liver and the spleen, swollen nodes in the neck (in both sides of the backbone, below my hair) (week 10)
- Pain in the tongue and in the thalmus gland
- Thrush (white coat on the tongue + pain) (week 12)
- Yeast infection in my genitals (week 14)

Tested negative at 3.5 months after the exposure (for all STDs, including HIV (ELISA))

Currently my neck is in fire (pain over/around the nodes), more nodes are swelling in the neck (I'm sure).
(I counted totally 50 bumps all over my body :)
severe muscle pain in legs (on/off), joint pain in legs and arms (on/off), pain also in armpits and in the groin area (nodes?).
Low back pain (kidney area). Fever. Anxiety. Stress.

But hey, I'm still alive (and scared to see the doc (the third one)).

I'm now beyond the 6 months...

So what is your testing status now? Have you tested positive? I will be getting the big three month test next week.

The odds are with you by far that you are ok. After 3 1/2 months many would say NO WAY you have HIV.

GOOD LUCK,
