Lymph Nodes - Painful or Not?
      #29296 - 03/04/02 05:00 PM

Perhaps some ppl know... If someone is HIV+, then they should definitely know... The Doc at http://www.hopkins-aids.edu/ keeps on saying that HIV-related lymph nodes, unless there's an OI, a malignancy or something like that are painless, and non-tender, i.e. they shouldn't really hurt when u poke them. He claims that's because they are CHRONIC. However, before they become CHRONIC, don't they have to be ACUTE for a while? I.e. when they are beginning to pop up, shouldn't they be painful, before they become CHRONIC, as in "tired" of being painful? What do u think guys?
