When term "flu like symptoms" is used....what exactly does that entail? I had either an upper respiratory infection or the flu at one point. Doc presribed some antibiotics and it cleared up immediately. My symptoms started out as constant sneezing one day, the next morning my chest hurt and by the end of the day I had developed a "productive" cough, fever, stuffy head....no body aches, no rash (however did have itchy skin a week prior...possibly dry skin?) no headache other than what my coughing provided.
Also, I have read nausea to be a possible symptom. Would nausea alone signify anything? I can say that I was extremely stressed at the time......
Someone please respond and help me clear up this issue. I am in the process of testing and every little sneeze and cough I have ever had is popping into my head and I have spent the past few nights crying myself to sleep. I am scared and just feel at a loss. My exposure was hetero sex...unprotected.

I think you and I are similar. I feel the exact sameway-LOST-you have the flu it sounds like to me. If an antibiotic cleated it up and it was quick especially.

So does that mean the symptoms described earlier account for flu like symptoms associated with ARS?
