Out of curiousity, are eye floaters something to be concerned about? I know they are associated with CMV, which consists of blurred vision as well. But if one has an eye floater, they are in their mid-twenties, their eyesight has been bad for years, recently received an eye exam when they HAD the floater (yet did not mention it) and all was fine, is that something to be concerned about?

I don't think it's a major problem. I've had them for ages. I remember when I was little I enjoyed "chasing" them with my eyes. My eyesight was OK then. Now I'm a bit short-sighted - still get them from time to time. But when I became one of the Worried Wells, I did begin to attribute a lot of importance to them. So calm down! ;-)

Eye Floaters mean nothing. Many people that are HIV negative have problems with them.
