Do you really want to be like this?
Dear Dr. Gallant,
I realize that you hate WW questions but in your honest opinion why does it take some people a long time to test + on the HIV test. A friend of mine had an encounter with a sex worker in 1998 and 6 weeks later had all the symptoms of ARS as diagnosed by his physician, yet his test is still negative as late as October last year. He even had a quantitative PCR that was neg too. Any reasons why the test would show false negative at this point?
Regards, Jack The most obvious reason would be that he's not infected....(duh!)
