Hiv Ag(p24)/ Hiv ab (type 1+type 2) Accuracy
      #276805 - 06/23/14 01:10 PM

Hello again sorry for bothering you again but i think this is the last time, i just had my test results back and they are negative. I had the Hiv Ag(p24)/ Hiv ab (type 1+type 2) test using the cmia method. The first test i did was six years ago and 2 months after suspicious sex and now after six years it is again negative. is there any chance that this test could not detect the virus? After 6 years, are antibodies still detectable?

If you were infected with HIV, the test would totally detect it after 6 years. Congratulations, you're okay!
