Acute symptoms
      #275063 - 01/27/14 09:32 AM

Hi all, long story short. Had sex with female and the condom broke. This is now day 10. Starting about 8 I started having stomach problems. Also started feeling like I am on the verge of coming down with something. I'm dizzy. My ears feel full and ringing. Is this what ars is. I am so emotionally drained. Thanks

Thanks. But do acute symptoms start that early?

Four of the things you listed asking if they were signs of ARS are signs of stress. Get the point? ARS symptoms are the same type of symptoms of hundreds of other diseases and mental conditions.

Bottom line. You either have HIV or you don't. No amount of speculation over symptoms is going to change that. I would suggest you quit trying to match symptoms and not bother to worry about it until you have a reason to worry. Otherwise you will drive yourself crazy because until you test there is NO answer.

Thanks for info. I'm just confused on when ars symptoms occur. I'm at 10 days post exposure. And I have some symptoms. Dizziness and nausea being the worst. Not sure what to think. Could this b acute symptoms. Should I go to the doctor?

I believe if you look back you will see that I discuss ARS in one of my first posts to you.

What does it matter when ARS starts or not? The symptoms are just like a bunch of other stuff so looking at your symptoms does NO GOOD. All it is doing is screwing with your mind. You just are going to have to wait until 6 weeks and get a test.

Black Dante

10 days is too early for a test that will mean anything. While a combo test may pick up this early, that test is not readily available all over the world. A negative is always nice but at 10 days it's much to early to be used as any decent indicator of status.
