Is elisa neg at 161/2 weeks sufficient

Hi, After suffering every symptom possible I tested elisa neg at 161/2 weeks, is this ok despite ongoing symptoms.My risk was low but the other persons pre ejaculate came in to contact with my mucous membranes, or is this unlikely to infect me, no penetrative sex involved.

A NEG test at 13 weeks is about 97%-99% definitive that you DO NOT have HIV. Your fine, just go at 6 month's if you feel you need reassurance. Your FINE!! Gongrat's by the way...

Hi. Im in a very similiar situation. m very interested to know what your symptoms are. I was a very low risk exposure but also have symptoms which I am praying are due to stress and anxiety. It all started with pain in my upper groin. Then the pain began in my armpits and neck and back of my head. What really scared me is thi was followed by a week of night sweats and 2 fingers on each hand that were numb and tingling. I also have a rash on my chest and lower neck. Took my 1st test at 6 mos and awaiting results. Appreciate your response and wish you the best.
