Recently got tested for HIV (2days ago) by a finger prick and was negative, today I was at a car workshop (my friend works there) and I was accidentally messing with a razor blade and it came in contact for a few seconds with the finger that was finger pricked 2 days ago and I'm scared what if the razor blade had HIV from someone else and it went through the blood of my finger that got pricked 2 days ago and I don't know if its fully healed so what if I got infected with HIV? i immeditly squeezed that finger to see if blood would come out and i saw only saw a bit of the blood move inside but did not go outside i think ,(P.S i started messing with the razor blade like 15-20 minutes after i came in maybe 10)The blade could've been slightly oil so won't the virus survive in longer (i dont if it was maybe not)?? Please help I'm bugging out, i know what im saying sounds ludicrous but please try to answer it if this was able to happen and if there was blood on the blade and came into contact with my wound , i cant remember but for arguments sake, i cant let me mind rest easy and its been killing me for the past few days and it will be another 3 months minimum to get tested for sure. I really appreciate this guys and any feed back is welcome, thank you.

Amazing you went through sex Ed but missed basic biology. Btw congrats on causing yourself a blood blister they are always fun.
I can't think of a single item in a mechanics shop that wouldn't be covered in some sort of caustic material. Whether it be grease, battery acid, antifreeze, gas, etc. how many microscopic organisms do you know of can survive such conditions? I can think of a few but none of them are HIV or any virus at all. Bacterial life yes.
Also a cut is considered protected from HIV the minute it has stopped bleeding. Why? Because the clotting factor of blood creates a solid barrier from all foreign bodies. It's part of the reason we get scabs. It's an immune response.
Another thing HIV requires a very strict environment to survive outside the human body. Scientist have a hard time keeping it alive outside something living for more than a few days. They have specialized equipment designed to keep it alive and it still dies 3-7 days after they have drawn it from something living.
PH is a huge huge factor in HIV's survival outside the body. One degree in either direction kills HIV. So is temp. Anything below 94 and above 104 kills HIV quickly. Let's not forget moisture as well. It needs to stay suspended in a warm liquid. So if you want to worry about stupid things find something else that's more feasible. Like getting hit by a car pulling into the garage. Or the hydrologic jack failing while under it. Or a gasoline leak, or even someone not attaching the air compressor correctly. All of it has more risk than the ZERO risk scenario you describe.
