Hi, Could you enlighten me as to the rapid immunochromatography anti HIV 1/2 test (probably 3rd generation and cassette one?). Is the result of it definite and conclusive after 19 weeks post event? thanks a lot everyone!

it's not necessary to open a new topic. you could have had posted the new question in your first topic.
the answer remains the same: 3 months is the standard window worldwide for any test/brand/generation.

even the rapid lateral flow assays? don't know why, as I am no specialist in this field, but somehow I perceive them as the ones slighly less accurate than the others. am I right? or am I simply being unfair in my judgement?

you had two negative tests already, from different brands. the chance of both of them being false negative are probably in the order of 1 in a million.
if you're still concerned, you should talk to a HIV specialist, do a classic 4th generation test, talk with a psychologist or just turn the page. it's up to you.

Just out of curiosity, what was your exposure in Poland? You posted a concern about social kissing where a friend kissed you on the cheek. I'm curious as to the exact risk you think you had in Poland, cause if it's the same as your concern over social kissing you are just wasting everyone's time.
