Swollen Lymph Nodes

I'm still waiting to be tested...two more days and I can finally be done and over with this worry. But I wanted to know that if swollen lymph nodes with no symptoms is a sign of hiv/how severe it would have to be. It has been six months since i've had protected sex, ive never been unprotected but i've done oral. I did suffer from strep throat or (mono) about 2 weeks ago. So if anyone could help ease my mind, i'd appreciate it.
