2 months ago I left home with a man. I refused penetration so he placed his penis around my anus and moved until ejaculation. I know that this may be no risk but I am still worried the fact being there was SEMEN around my anus.. I tested negative at 5 and 7 weeks with an oral swab. But now 8 weeks after the exposure I developed a sore throat that was gone in 5 days. After I developed pain on my left ear. I am really scared. I really really am and I want to ask you form the bottom of my heart for you honest answers and thoughts. Thank you so much!!

was there semen in your anus? if yes, there was a risk and is advisable to test at least 3 months post incident (but with your results so far expect no other than a negative)
if there was no semen in your anus, you had no risk.

No the semen was not in me. He did not penetrate me at all. I think this is called frottage? Anyways I was just worried because sometimes I get itchy inbetween my asscheeks and I was wondering if those scratches are enough for transmission. People say that the HIV virus does not transmitt outside of the body but anxiety has kicked in. I tested negative at 7 weeks. would my sore thorat have nothing to do with the virus?

Your sore throat has nothing to do with the virus. But please see this experience as a warning to be very caeful, next time you may not be as lucky.

Thank you so much for your wise words! I have understood how important it is to be careful. One last question. Is there ANY medication that can interfere with a test result. I am on anxiety medication and I was wondering if it can alter my test result at 3 months?

Only ARVs (antiretroviral drugs) may interfer with your results.

So in all what do you think about my risk. Frottage with ejaculation and a negative at 7 weeks? Thank you so much for your time. May God bless you both.,

if some of the semen got into your anus, there's a risk, but that test at 7 weeks is very encouraging and highly unlikely to change.
test at 13 weeks with a classic blood drawn and move on.
all the best.
