I am curious and do have a question about Hiv Rapid Testing accuracy. I always test about every 3 to 6 months as I compete in combat sports and it is mandatory, and I go to planned parenthood usually and they use a rapid test and prick my finger. Usually takes about 15 minutes or so for results. I had this done three months after my last possible exposure of someone with unkown status and it came back negative. I went to a different clinic 10 days later and they took blood and and got my results in a week and that was also negative. Now just this last tuesday, I went to planned partenthood and Got tested again using the rapid test finger prick method and once again was hiv negative. I am fairly confident that I am HIV negative. I was more so just wondering what the accuracy of these test really are since they use such little blood??

How much blood would you like them to take to feel totally confident that they are accurate? 1 vial? 1 pint? 2 liters? A gallon or two?
Multiple tests + multiple negative results = HIV negative. End of Story. Case Closed. Find something better to do.
