symptoms after having safe sex
      #267259 - 09/25/12 05:01 PM

i had safe sex with 3 different ladies in last month. Now having symptoms from last one week like weakness, less appetite, feeling feverish (around 36.3 which started with chill on first time) minor head aches. done elisa test after 4 week which came negative. As per my best knowledge condom didn't broke in any sex encounter. Still in very much fear and anxiety . What would be chances of getting infected?

if you used a condom, then 0% chance. sometimes you just get a cold or feel achy. doesn't mean it's related to hiv.

First and foremost posting multiple threads for any reason is just rude and obnoxious.

That said you had ZERO risk if you wore a condom every time. So your symptoms are either guilt, stress, or just another viral cold. That or possibly mono or some other sti.

Again absolutely no risk for HIV. So move on.

and yes, please keep all your questions to one thread.

as for symptoms, there are no HIV-specific symptoms. so even if you get a rash or fever for a certain amount of time, there's no unique marker for HIV.

but just to reassure you, your scenario was not a risk for HIV. you do not have to worry about it.

Watch yourself. Sounds like you are going thru Sever Axiety, I have had this happen to me. HIV is hard to diagnosed by symptoms in fact symptoms are rare. But stress can cause your body to do all kind of stuff like you have mentioned i went to the dr and they gave me medication that took care of it m Sounds like you took the correct precautions in having safe sex. So i would say no need to worry. You can get tested if you want a peace of mind but im sure its going to be NEG. Continue to be safe and live a happy life GET THAT AXIETY addressed!!

yes anxiety is there because this is the first time I performed sex. I am looking everything on net and then started comparing with my symptoms. Today I had a little swelling on upper left side of my lip and then i found about herpes as some symptoms also match with it, now i am thinking it could be that. Is herpes is same dangerous like HIV?? If symptoms affecting me is non of it then how should I start overcome my illness?? I'm planing to go for another HIV test on next week. Till then what precaution should i need to take? kindly help. Thanks
