I agree HIV can get into the blood very easy ths way
if there was any razor burn or nics.
also dont have sex with Prostitutes is good advice.
infact I am so far beyond all of this I live alone in a studio apt. with my computer and just have cyber sex.
do I need to test for cycber sex ? I know there are many Computer Viruses out there.

While I will agree that this is how INFECTED became infected. To say that it's now proven to be a risk is wrong.
Think about it, how many guys shave before a date. How many guys after dinner engage in eating out their date. Now I know that shaving your face is different from shaving your pubs, but Abrased skin is still abrased skin. If what your saying is true and it's proven that there would be a lot more cases of this happening.
I think it was a very specific set of conditions and not something that would be easily duplicated.

Good points. I am thinking though that the texture of the area of the shaved pubes would be much more abraded and rough..that area is softer than the face which is built for shaving..the pubes are not and I am wondering there healing properties are different?
Why do people do this anyway? I have only heard about gay men shaving the pubes..never a hetero guy..whats up w. that?

Str8 men have been copying gay men for years. Many people have their pubes shaved. There was even an episode of Sex and the City about it...

Instead of saying dont shave your pubes I'd rather say dont have sex with prostitutes or any other unknown person.
