Stupid question. Sorry in advance.

Hi everyone. I'm the moron who thought she was in acute liver failure three weeks post PEP because of some very unpleasant GI side effects worse than Kaletra. As it turned out, my cooking with tumeric was to blame. A resident mentioned to me that it was being investigated as an anti-inflammatory/anti-cancer agent so I added a whole lot to my stir fry. Getting to my question: I read today that tumeric also displays properties like an integrase inhibitor for HIV. So, now in light of my 13 week negative rapid test yesterday, I'm seriously wondering if the high amount of tumeric I ate during PEP could delay seroconversion. The ID doc wants me to do a 6 mos test as well. Does anyone know?

no, your test was not affected by tumeric. they say you should test up to 3 months after finishing PEP. so 13 weeks is really encouraging and you're most likely negative, but should test again at 16 weeks just to confirm.
