Hi, please help: In 13 years, I just had once non-protected sex with a girl that looks healthy for about 15 mn, ejaculating outside. 12 days later, my body got hot, sweating all the time for now 7 weeks. Test came negatif on 17th day of exposure but I am now too scared and cant' redo it again. Doctor says I have malaria and typhoid, which i took medecine for but no change. My tongue got white with scratches on the middle end since day 19 of expo, sore throat, neck, fatigue, diarrehea, headache, fever. Now I am on 7th week of those symptoms and my teeth gums become white, a few rash on upper chest and back. Could that be hiv, please?

The early signs of HIV are actually symptoms from the conversion illness known as Acute Retroviral Syndrome (ARS) which occurs 2-4 weeks after infection. The fact you still are having symptoms and they additional ones have come along is not how ARS works.
Go back to your doctor and tell him the medication he gave you did not work. Both those diseases are highly dangerous to you and probably are the cause of your symptoms.
That being said. You should test at 3 months in order to get a conclusive negative, though I doubt you became infected. In the future use always use condoms. Just don't have sex without them. They can protected from several STD's.

Thanks for your reply, it's much calming me down. I took antibiotics for 10 days, malarial cure for 3 days and alot of vitamins and anti-fever/aches. What worrying me is i still have hot body, sweating all the time for the 7th week, lost about 5 kg. At times i am believing it's the stress/anxiety or the typhoid but with the cited symptoms I can't take away hiv out of my thinking. What could that be? any advice is welcome, folks.

Don't rely on symptoms to self diagnose HIV. The only way you can find out is by taking a HIV test. You're at seven weeks post exposure so you can take it now, it will give you a pretty reliable advance of your status. Then take another one three months post exposure for a conclusive result. Don't stress too much because chances are that you're negative and also because anxiety can make symptoms a lot worse. Believe me, I had more than 30 real symptoms and after all turned out negative for HIV. Good luck and be well.

Please tell, Still very anxious: Thanks for the answers given. As said earlier, I just had my last exposure less than 9 weeks ago but since 7 weeks I have the symptoms that if I look on the internet are for people having hiv for years or third stage of the disease and not early signs. Briefly again, only had unprotected penetration once in 13 years with a girl for 15 mn ejaculating outside. from day 10 after exposure, felt a little congested nose, day 12 till now, hot body with excessive sweating all the time and fatigue. Day 17, hiv test came Negative, day 18 tense muscle on throat, day 19 tongue become white with scratched on middle end. Day 20, went back to doctor, did general blood test, says typhoid and malaria, doc says symptoms can be from typhoid. Took anti-malaria for 3 days, strong antibiotics for 10 days, alot of vitamins and and anti-fever/aches but still no result. Sometimes feel pain on neck, throat, chest. Since last week, my teeth gum become just white and a few rashes on right upper chest and back. i am 36, male, with good health prior to this issue. I am just too afraid to redo the test. COULD THAT BE HIV, Please?

Ok, here's an idea for you... don't think too much, stop researching about hiv in internet and go take the test. At this point you'll get a pretty reliable result and will be negative.

Hello Folks, I went to see my doctor and suggest to do the 3 months post-exposure test in 3 weeks from now. For almost 2 month now, I have pretty high fever with sweat any time. I tried to forget about hiv, get out with friends, works... BUT the symptoms are there. My throat is still not healed despite antibiotics, my tongue and gums still white and yesterday I got real muscles pain in arms and legs. Today, for the first time, i woke up with a small swollen node in my right side neck. Now, I am anxious more than ever and have nobody to talk to, except here. They say ARS symptoms last for about 2 weeks but in 2 month, my symptoms look like late-stages hiv.I feel like stop living, Is that definitely it? could I be closer to develop aids, die sooner? PLEASE HELP
