Hi , I had 4, 6, 8, & 10th week -ve results.. so i wanted to have a 3 month test. i went to get tested on monday ie 11th june ( 87 days post exposure ). I gave my blood in the morning around 8:45 am.. and the Lab guy told me that i can check my result online in the evening.. after that i went to office and checked the result at 2,3, 4 & 5 pm i did not received the result .. as it did not happened before with the other Lab where i tested twice .. so i called customer care guy to ask about it he said your VDRL is -ve but your Hiv result is not released, i was in shock because since last 2 months i was having these symptoms .. i went crazy canceled a very important meeting at office and went to the Lab and in the way i was shivering and crying while driving .. and then reached to the lab they said come in the morning to collect the report .. then a guy came back he forgot something in the Lab, he asked me what happened i said can i get my results... he took my receipt and went inside to get the reports .. he took around 10 mins .. during that time i was feeling like i was getting fever and very weak in legs.. he came back with the report i took out the report and saw VDRL ( non - reactive ) Hiv 1/2 ( non - reactive ).. I felt so relived ..! Now i am confident about my result at 3 month. as the test is almost conclusive ..! But still i will go for a six month test just to be 100% sure..!
