Well, I don't know if I want the results, but I did the blood draw today. Hopefully they will complete the testing before the weekend is over. I think I will drink a little this weekend, maybe a lot to forget about this whole thing.
I still have to get the results, but with my lymph nodes being very enlarged, and my previous symptoms, I am expecting the positive result.

Well you have done the right thing as hard as it is. So just be patient but what ever the out come is you will be able to live you life. Just stay positive x

Symptoms mean absolutely nothing. I have a lymphnode in my neck that has been swollen for well over three months and I tested negative for HIV 2 days ago.

I am going through what you are going through right now. I am pretty scared too. But we'll get through it. Important thing to remember is that if we do end up HIV+, it doesn't mean the world will end quickly for us. From what I've been reading online, many people that become HIV+ in their 20s can live up into their 70s if they start treatment early enough. Good luck with the results.

I just did this yesterday too and I tell you what - I am scared. I keep telling myself that everything will be ok. Glad to read these posts and see that everyone has a fear. I know - whatever the outcome - I will NEVER place myself in this position again for the rest of my life. Hold tight and keep us posted. I understand how you are feeling and am hoping to see you post a big WOOHOO after this is all finished. Take care :-)
