I need advice please. I recently used a public toilet, when i wiped myself I realised the tissue was wet. I checked the roll and it had previously been dropped in the toilet. I know its a long shot but I cant stop thinking It could have been dropped into the toilet used by a HIV+ lady while menustrating. a) could my mucous membrane absorb the virus with one wipe (I have thrush)? b)would the water of diluted the virus making it less infectious? c) Do I need to test? Ive read you cant catch HIV from environmental surfaces but normally they dont get wiped on mucous membrane. Please help, Im confused and scared. Thankyou
