i was having an oral sex with some stranger.. (gay male and hooker)
.. then.. i first i though it was safe.. and then i sudenly read something about it is posible to get hiv on oral sex..
and that time i was having an infection on my tooth ( it was aching so bad that time) could it be that my gums are open that time?.. and also..
.. i have a partner currently and he admited that he have a multiple sexual relationships... and he said hes safe coz he feel alright and never had any symtoms or aids even before..... is there any posibility that hes positive?.. pls answer me thank you very much

first the bad news. yes, there is definitely a possibility that he is positive. HIV is not about symptoms or how you feel. unless he has tested negative three months after his last sexual encounter, his status remains unknown.
but here's the good news. even if he is positive, oral sex is a very, very low risk. the HIV risk of receptive oral sex (meaning you are the giver), the cdc estimates as 1 out of 10,000 exposures.
so the odds are extremely stacked in your favor. what's done is done. a test at 3 months will be conclusive. assuming you didn't have any other encounters, the test will most likely come back negative.

most dont experience any symptoms, those that do rarely notice because symptoms arent exclusive to seroconversion, they are general & common to a number of multiple common colds,flu,etc... this is why you cant rely on symptoms. playing the assumption game is just as dangerous now, as it was when ya made the decision to have unprotected sex.
test & trust, its that simple.....
