Look at the facts....

It's clear we cannot diagnose infected over the net, we will have to wait until January to get his results.
I for one have a suspicion of hiv.

Why?
Exposure to a person in a high risk group, even though it was low risk it wasn't ZERO risk.
Multiple symptoms of ARS consitent with timing.
Multiple swollen lymph nodes which were confirmed by a nurse.
A positive result on a questionable hiv test.

All of this could very well add up to a positive result.

Doesn't anybody else see it like this?(besides you INFECTED)

what you refuse to look at, ny, is the power of the mind. Also, the fact that these symptoms have been going on for SO long. ARS is a typical flu - it lasts for a week or two, and then is gone. Contrary to what you think, exposure is everything - if it was low risk (combined with a one-time exposure), the chances are miniscule.

Again - Look at the facts.... new

I must disagree, I realize that exposure is the key but he did have an exposure, miniscule or not, it was an exposure.
He also stated that the initial flu symptoms he got only lasted a week or so and the other ones were dragging on, which can happen in ars. The average length of symptoms (according to one study) is 25 days, BUT it can last up to 10 weeks with milder symptoms and node swelling (which he describes as his symptoms now).
I agree that the mind is a powerfull thing and CAN cause some symptoms, but what you can't ignore is that this is not true in all cases.
