chronic throat irritation hiv symptom?

hello, im sure you're all aware of my risk, unprotected oral msm me giving, one minute max, no ejaculation, highly doubt there was precum
tested negative at 6 weeks with a 4th gen duo, was told this is deifinately conclusive, and was not even told to come back for a 3 month test when i asked.
is chronic throat irritation a symptom of HIV, or mild ars? i've had this now for... nearly 2 and a half months. seen GP about it, she recognises slight irritation but i suffer form hayfever so she administered some anti allergy tablets. the thing is i have never had throat symptoms because of hayfever before, leading me to think that this is not the cause for my very mild throat irritation
im worried it might be very mild ars, which i have heard is possible, and apparently this delays the antibody production? is this true of have i just made it up
I WANT TO LEAVE THIS BEHIND! can someone just confirm that my 6 week 4th gen do negative was TRULY TRULY conclusive?

Allergies don't happen overnight and can happen over time and get more severe. I use to be able to eat eggs. Now if I have one I am violently ill for a few days. I use to have eggs every morning for breakfast as a kid and I have found as I age the allergic reaction gets worse every year (or at least when I am not careful about what I eat). Same goes for a couple of people I know who are allergic to bees. They say every time it gets worse. Same is true for hay fever. Some people grow out of it some into it. Sucks but part of life.
That said welcome to getting older and more allergic. Your risk wasn't even a risk, your test is conclusive, move on. Air conditioning can also aggravate an already sore throat. Try using a humidifier when you're home I bet it helps after the first few days.

so in your view, you agree with my sexual health advisor that a another test now is not necessary? (i am past the 12 week mark post exposure)
and a chronic irritated mild throat is not something to do with HIV? sometimes it causes me to dry cough as well

look up the definition of ACUTE and then explain how a 2.5 a chronic throat irritation fits in with that..

yes i see where you're coming from
but i have read that ars can be very mild and if so, can last longer periods of time. is that true?

Milder does not mean longer. It means less severe. Some people have ACUTE retroviral syndrome (ARS) that is so severe that it can put them in the hospital. Others notice nothing at all. Either way, it doesn't change the meaning between ACUTE and chronic. ARS lasts about 1 week. Anything longer just isn't ARS no matter how you try to rewrite Webster's.

In my view you had no reason to rush off and test after that 'exposure' in the first place.

Relax Dude, One cam make them self's I'll from worrying so much man...You just need a good man & a cocktail! There are HIV docs on site ask them. I believe you are fine. Get tested again in 2-3 weeks. But babe' you must stop worrying. OK, Good Luck Dude.

Pozz 21yrs here. If you gave a BJ from an HIV+ dude & you have bad dental work & bleeding gums at times. There is a chance. HIV + Guys Dental is free for HIV+ people. Check your area for help. There is so much help out there today, 27 yrs later HIV was recognized. I KNOW that attitude, meds, lab work & acceptance make a world of difference. I can tell you so many stories dude. You worry way to much. How is your stress level man. Relax, have a glass of fine vino'....
