Confusing test results

I've been tested positive a few weeks ago though a mail in anonymous blood sample.
i've took a few weeks to figure things out and went to a clinic to do the oraquick anonymously - the test result returned negative. i've just sent the mail in again and it looks like it will be positive
i'm very confused am i positive or negative , is there still a chance that i'm negative
the only thing i can see that might influence the test is that i was sick and that i many allergic reactions at the time i've done the test. I don't know if this has any factor but from reading online i've noticed that there are external factors that can make the regular immune system react to the hiv virus. can this be the case with me?
how do i confirm once and for all without leaving my anonymity
please help with insight and support and wish me to find out in the end that im negative.
i would never want to put the people i love in risk and as such i'm stuck in limbo thinking i might be dieing but in my heart i know i'm not i know with every bone in my body and soul that i was meant to see this and become more human and understand suffering so i can then fight to make my world a better one. I'm not giving up on the idea that i'm negative i need to know what's the next step i can do to confirm. can i wait a few months and test again after my blood stream will balance out form the cold and the allergies?

Hi
I would recommend that you be tested at 12 weeks after any exposure you may have had. A simple antibody test should pick up whether you've been infected or not. If the antibody test comes back positive, the results need to be confirmed by a Western Blot test before you're diagnosed as being HIV positive.
I don't know where you live but I would seriously question the accuracy of a mail-in sample for diagnosis. For your own peace of mind, go to a clinic and have yourself tested by professionals. They will be able to confirm if you're positive or negative.
Best of luck! Vern

I suggest you go to a free clinic or your private clinic and give a blood sample to the ELISA test. I read the oraquick that uses saliva is not as accurate as blood sample! Good luck and I trully hope and pray ur result will be negaative.
