Hi .. I am from Sydney Australia.
I was exposed to HIV. I had a HIV antibody and antigen test 3 years later. ( Blood sample) . It came back negative.
I am aware that there is a 3 month window period.. But my question is... Would there still be HIV antibodies (antibodies that the blood test will pick up) in the body after 3 years of exposure ?? (assuming u were HIV positive). Thankyou.

yes, your 3 yr test is conclusive you do not have hiv it can take up to 3 months for the body to develop the antibodies, but once there, they don't go away
