I was recently tested for HIV. I get tested every few years bc of some stupid behavior years ago. It's always been negative. Now the test has come back inconclusive. I'm a basketcase!!!! I was told there is ONE antibody that caused it to be inconclusive. I had a fever blister at the time of the testing. Could this have caused it to be inconclusive?

inconclusive doesnt mean positive. have you engaged in any unprotected sex or shared any needles since your last conclusive negative test result?

Stupidly, yes, unprotected sex. I've never done drugs.
