I am a gay male who last weekend met another gay male who told me he was HIV+ after we had fooled around. I'm now worried that I put myself at risk of exposure. He has been positive for 13 years now and seemed to care about safer sex.
These are the possible risk factors: deep kissing, he gave me a bj and heavy frottage with my penis pushing up and against his anus. There was no penetration but I did push my penis up against the opening to his anus. I have read that there is a high concentration of the virus in the rectal mucous membranes and rectal fluid. Is it possible that pushing up against him could have enabled some anal fluid to get into my urethra or mucous membranes in my penis? As I said though, there was no penetration
Am getting worried about this exposure risk so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If he has been +ve for 13 years already and cared about safe sex then we can hope he takes care of himself as well, ie taking his meds and being undetectable. If that is the case then what you described above is safe. Basically kissing, frottage, BJ has a very very low risk of transmission.
But if you are worried, have the tests done anyway for peace of mind and you will see they should be negative.
Good luck.
