I personally have never heard of an ulcer being a symptom of ARS, but it does seem that just about anything can be linked to HIV in one way or another. Never mind the fact it might be linked to a hundred other things also.
Be that as it may, I am sure an ulcer could be caused by several things. The first that comes to mind is Herpes. I would suggest you have a doctor look at it instead of trying to figure out what it is on your own.

I had a mark about 3 weeks after possible infection too. The dr. said he didn't know what it was but didnt look like an std and it didn't hurt or anything. I thought maybe it was just a mark in the skin I always had but did not notice, but am unsure now. This stuff just keeps compiling...

i know something is wrong and am trying my best to figure it out; going to the dr. tomorrow to see about a CBC so maybe I can figure out what is wrong with me AND my partner who has shown symptoms. its not all in my head.
