Please help me I'm scared I'm infected..

This is my story. I had unprotected anal sex once and it was for about a minuite. For some reason I'm convinced I have HIV. I was drunk and didn't care that he didn't use a condom. I regret this everyday. I feel fine and healthy, I have only had one symptom and it was a small rash on my foot. I asked the guy if he was clean and he said yes, that the last time he ha unprotected sex was two years ago and he said he tested clean two months before we hooked up. Would someone lie to me and ruin my life with that disease? I even called him and talked on the phone. I just don't want to have HIV because my life would be over.. I would never be able to have the family I once dreamed of.. Everyday this haunts me. I bugged the guy so much he told me to stop contacting him. Should I be scared? Also it's been 6 months since exposure.

So have you even bothered to test? At 6 months you are 3 months past the window period. Your test result will be conclusive.

yeah just get a test. chances are in your favor that you're negative.
however, just fyi, not having HIV does not make you "clean" and having HIV does not mean your life would be over or that you can't have the family you want. with proper meds, people living with HIV live long lives and can have kids without transmitting the virus.
