Tell me Please! This HIV virus, is it really that vicious and fast that by having your penis inserted in an infected vagina for only a couple of Minutes (max). That, that virus can make its way through the urethra opening and infect that person? Even though there are no cuts, sores, rashes etc...on the penis or the vagina? I know you can't give me an exact percentage but can you at least tell me is it a LOW, MED, or HIGH change of getting infected? I'm going CRAZY HERE and I don't even know if she was in fact infected!!!!!

hello again. here are two of Dr. Bob's responses concerning HIV risk statistics.
hiv risk ratio and doesn't make sense.
According to CDC per-act risk estimates, unprotected insertive penile-vaginal intercourse HIV risk is 5 out of 10,000 exposures. But as Dr. Bob states, this is based on the entire population and does not mean that you need to have sex 10,000 times before you're infected. You can get infected after just one exposure.
However, the bottom line for you is that relative to other exposure routes, your risk was low, but still warrants a test!
