Has anyone seen any statistic as to the number of cases where an HIV infection would not show on a standard ELISA or PCR because it is either a rare strand or whatever? Thanks guys.
Good luck to everyone!

In a preceding post you were telling us that you tested neg after 5 months. Why don't you believe your results ? - RMK has said, in one of his responses, that the ELISA test picks up all the strains associated to hiv1. Unless you were in contact with an hiv2 person, there is really no necessity to fear an hiv infection.
