What about rare strain/CRF's?
      #250727 - 06/13/10 11:28 AM

Making it short. I have been with multiple ASIAN women over the past few years. The last was in September of '09. I have tested out to 36 weeks with a negative antibody, PCR-DNA, and rapid tests. Most recently PCR DNA was at 6 months, last rapid 7 months, and last antibody(two different kinds, labcorp and quest) at 8 months. How conclusive can I take these results? My question stems from the fact that I continue to have symptoms of a throat infection which is clearing with Nystatin oral rinse. With all of this testing, is it possible that these tests could have missed it? Will the EIA tests used here in US pick up the rare strains and CRF's? Thanks
