Well, there really is no such thing as safe sex. The only way to ensure not getting HIV from sex is to not have sex-but people can have safer sex. Using condoms properly every time you have sex is the best method of protection.

HIV is transmitted through an exchange in certain body fluids. The fluids that transmit HIV are blood, breast milk, semen, and vaginal fluid-so if infected vaginal fluid from a woman enters the body of a man (through his penis), transmission is possible.
