Should it be taken with a grain of salt? Or is it a good step in the right direction? Does anyone know the level of conclusiveness after 30 days for an HIV test?

Ive heard its a good sign, but a six week negative is more conclusive. If you test negative at six week, your on the right direction. Good luck.

I agree with snake, it is a good sign. However, you should test out to three months to be sure. Here's more information about the window period. http://www.thebody.com/content/art2497.html#window
