Condom breakage? Scared!

OK so I went in to be tested today, results will be back in fifteen very long days, but the health center was not offering rapid fire tests. but soon enough i will know.
My question is I had protected anal receptive sex with a person who i asked if he was HIV negative, said he was, but talk is cheap. the deed was done on the beach, it was dark, and i used vaseline, which I know is very very dumb now for lube. i did not notice the condom was broken when he pulled out. If the condom broke, would I be able to notice it? It looked like it was intact, but could there have been a small hole. It was not ripped from tip to bottom... I had an HIV test about three + weeks after the encounter which came back negative. i just am freaking out for this current test.
Any insight into this would really calm me down. Thanks!

It is pretty obvious when condoms fail you where probably not exposed in the first place

To Worriedsick,
1st off you dont mention how long it has been since ur exposure.
2nd take my word a condom breakage is very, very, very obvious. If the condom breaks it always ruptures enough to peel all the way back to the base of the penis.
3rd i would think it the condom did fail the person that had the condom on would have mentioned it to you. i know when i had an issue with a condom breakage i made it very obvious at the time.
So u shouldnt have anything to worry about. Just wait out the 15 days and get ur negative result. And yes dont ever use vaseline.

Worried sick, where the fuck in Miami did you go for an hiv test that you got to wait 15 days? Miami has thousands of rapid 20 minute hiv test locations. If I had to wait 15 days for an hiv test, yes you sure named yourself right, worriedsick is the appropriate name for you. By the way, go test an get a negative result.

I don't want to generate to much worry here but, I've had one condom breakage that I've noticed in my whole sexually active time of my life and to be honest it was difficult to spot. I think I put my nail through it putting it on and it was only when I was throwing it away that I noticed the semen leaking out of a slit in it. It certainly wasn't burst open. I guess though that this sort of rip is a fairy infrequent occurance based on other peoples experience.
