Someone please read and respond.... on the 14th of march sunday i had what would be called a low risk recieving oral sex from a dancer later noticed i had small cut on penis.
That next tuesday I started getting lower stomach cramps followd by alot of gas in abdomen and different pains in my abdomen wednesday got worse with lymphnodes hurting in different areas of the body, neck groin and underarms.
lots of pain in my back for the last couple of days and a type of front forehead type headache, kind of like sinus headache but worse.
the diareah got worst and i didnt feel like eating anything, then the chills started, its now sat the 27th one day away from 2 weeks from when this happened and my lymphnodes are still acting up, yesterday i had a slight nightsweat and by stomach and nodes still bad, lost about 7 pounds... is this what seroconversion is? and how can it happen so soon after the exposure??? Please someone give input... stressed and worried and dont know what to do.

In the over 25 years that HIV has been around there have been no confirmed cases of transmission from a blow job. Now tell me, what makes you more special than the millions of men that have received blowjobs in the last 25 years?
Symptoms should never be used as a basis for belief that you are infected. In your case your symptoms certainly don't point to HIV for two very good reasons.
1) Acute Retroviral Syndrome occurs between 2 and 4 weeks after infections. NOT days.
2) Look up the definition of Acute. It means rapid. ARS has a rapid onset. Symptoms come at once. Not a few here, a few there, and a couple a week later. ARS ends just as rapidly in just a few days. Lingering symptoms such as you complain about are not of this nature.

Thank you for your post but they did come all at once, some have gone and some have not like the throat ache and the lymphnodes and low grade fever, i did have lyme disease at one time could this be a factor in the quickness? and by the way, yes i understand i sound like a fool but there was an entry point if she had any kind of blood in her mouth soooooo im feeling all these things now and im very scared.

Like I said your symptoms are far from behaving like ARS, elsewise they wouldn't have stuck around this long and yes, you said that a few just recently showed up, the headache and such.....
You go ahead and believe that you somehow are a one in a gazillion chance of getting infected that way. Many of your symptoms seem stress related. Putting yourself through hell for a non-risk issue should really give you something to complain about healthwise.
You'd spend your time more wisely by figuring out why you feel the need to punish yourself over this non-risk incident. Deal with your guilt.

hey you sound mad that i am feeling like this? sorry but im scared because 1) ive been smoking ciggs most of my adult life and my health isnt the best to begin with, and ive heard that people that get symtoms when first infected have a poorer prognosis in the long run than people that are asymtomatic.
please dont be mad at me im just scared.
has anyone else gone through these symptoms? and i know im not supposed to self diagnose myself

That's a bunch of bull. I had ARS. Typical ARS for that matter. I'm still here after 14 years. I don't even know why you bring this up since you had no risk....which is my point.
The point you seem to be missing is you did not get HIV from that blowjob. So everything that you may be feeling is on you because of your refusal to understand the facts about transmission and you're too busy fantasing about how you are so different from every other human on earth that isn't at risk from getting a blow job.
I've seen this hundreds of times on this board. Go ahead there's obviously no point trying to get you to use some commonsense. Not wasting any more time.
Enjoy your time in your very own induced HELL. Hope you don't end up doing too much damage to your body, relationships, job and life by the time you decided to end this.

2nd, i dont know what typical ARS is since everyone says it affects everyone differently depending on the person.
3rd, im very happy that you have been going on strong for 14 years and wish you nothing but the best.
4th, dont get so upset im just looking for answers of what could be happening to me, I dont think lymphnodes swell up from being psycosomatic.

1) You're welcome.
2) Typical ARS is described as the flu. It comes on like the flu you feel fine, you suddenly would need to be dead three days to feel better, then you're up and moving just fine. Or you don't have anything.....or something inbetween. In may case I thought I had the flu, it was my doctor 6 weeks later that told me it was more likely that it was ARS. It sure wasn't like what I see described by people on this board that go on to test negative. Your description sounds a lot more in line with those, which is no surprise since you didn't get HIV from that blowjob.
Symptoms ARS are non-specific. In your case putting aside the symptoms that certainly can be attributed to several disease and conditions including stress and anxiety, the timing of what you swear must be ARS is all wrong. You're gut issues could be anything from a parasite to stress. The fact is that you don't want to even consider any other alternative other than HIV.
3) Thanks. I am sure my grandkids are more thrilled about my sticking around.
4) Lymphnodes swell up, it's what they do. They swell for everything from a major infection to a scratch on the skin. You complain about a sore throat and then think the lymphnodes must be because of HIV. Duh....how about the fact you've had a sore throat. Again, swollen lymphnodes don't point to HIV infection...and again, I didn't realized my nodes were even swollen until the doctor checked then. But then I wasn't poking and prodding them and giving them more attention then they deserve.
In risk assessment, the ONLY thing that is considered is the activity....and getting a blowjob is not a risk. It doesn't matter how you want to spin it, or add to your perceived risk with items such as 'small cut on the penis' or 'maybe she had blood in her mouth'. You can go through past posts about blow jobs and find that any number of 'what if's have been used in the past to no avail. The What-if's still tested negative, because it's not the what-it's that matter. It's the risk.
I don't have a problem with you looking for answer to what is going on with you, I'm just saying you need to look elsewhere cause it isn't HIV and if you continue to wear those HIV blinders, you just delay finding out what is actually wrong with you and the ensuing obsession over trying to prove you have HIV will ruin your life. Again, go through past posts of the Worried Well. What they have done to themselves because of their obession over HIV from a non-risk activity such as yours, is more scary than anything HIV can throw at you.
Your choice.

ok i have not been dead for 3 days or feel tired like i cant move.
at times ive been very tired like to pass out but i think that might be stress
but ive read everywhere that you could get abdomen pains and diareah and other things like stomach achyness and nausea, ive read it on even the cdc website.
i dont know what this could be, im going to a gastrointerologist to see if this might be a bad case of irritble bowl syndrome or something like that but it wouldnt explain these headaches or lymphnodes, yes besides the fact that im very stressed and i know that everyone tells me its hard to get it this way, alot of websites say you can get it through "intercourse. "ORAL" or anal sex.
they do not exclude oral sex
i can show you all the websites that say the same thing, "FLU" might not always mean laying down tired in bed for three days
