I think I am positive. Waiting for the test result

I just went to the lab to get the blood test and will receive my test result from my doctor on Thursday. I have been having many of the symptoms for about a month now. I'm pretty sure my result will come back positive. Is there someone I can talk to? I really don't know what to do.

Just, sit down take a deep breath and relax, there is nothing you can do now, don't go by symptoms, symptoms don't tell you, if your poz or not, i have been in your shoes so many times it not even funny. Take HIV out of your mind for a few days, and do what you like doing best, reading, shopping, walking, whatever it is. When you go to you doc for the results, what ever the result is, then you go from there.

Symptoms of seroconversion (ARS) last about a week, not a month. So testing because of symptoms is not a really vaild reason to test. Testing because you had an actual risk could be. You didn't mention ur risk.
