Penis Glans and the risk of contracting HIV

I am seriously concerned. Yesterday, I had a guy give me a blow job and then we masterbated each other. The thing that concerns me is that some of his cum ended on my penis when he finished. Although the cum landed in the middle on my penis, it ran to the glans of my penis. NEVER did the cum enter the tip of my penis. I immediately washed my penis with warm water and dry it up. I am concern because online it talks about how you can get HIV if any contaminated fluids goes as far as touching the glans. Please confirm if this is true or not. I have no visible cuts in my glans or in body of my penis. I am terrified from the information I am reading online. If it helps, I am circumcised. The guy who did this to me told me that he is HIV negative but why trust him. I am confused. Is it true that you can get HIV if fluids such as another person's cum touches the glans without you having a cut or something? Please help.

You're risk factor based on this single experience is very, very low (bordering on none at all). HIV is a blood-born virus and must enter your bloodstream. If you are truly that concerned about it, just get a test. Whichever you decide to do, you should make sure your control your hypersensitivity. Just educate yourself through reputable sources, identify your true risks, and protect yourself.

There are no CDC confirmed cases of transmission from getting a blow job. As to your other issue, intact skin is considered an effective barrier against HIV. The concern you have over HIV fluids reaching the glans has to do with the high concerntration of Dendritic cells found on the underside of the foreskin. This is why uncircumsized men face a greater risk for transmission during unprotected anal or vaginal sex...and that is one way HIV is transmitted; unprotected sex. Not from some wayward sperm landing on the side of a penis.
You were not at risk, but you sound as if you have already spent way too much time on the web getting some information and probably a lot of misinformation, so by now you probably won't rest until you test. Testing by the way is something anyone that is sexually active should be doing once a year anyway.

I think that oral sex is not an HIV concern and you were never at risk of becoming infected. However, you can become infected with other more common STI's, so maybe now would be a good time to get an STI panel done.
