I have read conflicting information from late to early but my non expert opinion is probably later stages and they are more frequent. My Xgirlfriend had a yeast infection almost everytime she went for her yearly obgyn exam. She never had bad ones that were obvious but her Dr. would say she had one and give her meds. she is HIV negative.

they start only in late hiv about 7 yrs or more after infection
