Blood on Food?

My question is on the possibility of getting HIV from blood on a chicken sandwich? I know it might sound silly but would like some other opinions. I was getting a chicken sandwich from a gas station and noticed what could have been blood on it. Not just a drop of blood, maybe about half of the bun. Lets say that the sandwich sat on the warmer for 3-5 minutes and then after paying for it another 5-7 minutes before I started to eat it. What would be the chances of getting infected if the blood was HIV+ and I had a two day old canker sore in my mouth? Thank you

OK so let me see if I understand what you are saying. You noticed not just a drop of blood, but about a half of bun of blood that comprise the sandwich you were about to eat...and then ate it anyway. You are either a troll or a fool, I have patience for neither.

No I noticed it after I took a bite of the sandwich.

How do you know it was blood ? Perhaps it was just tomato sauce ?

Might have been. The sandwich normally comes with nothing on it and it just raised some questions and I was looking for answers. Thanks
